1/2 whole French bread loaf -- sliced diagonally, 1/4" thick
4 whole tomatoes -- diced
3 tablespoons fresh basil -- chopped
2 teaspoons olive oil
3 ounces mozzarella cheese -- (fresh) diced
1 clove fresh garlic (finely chopped)

Slice and toast french bread under broiler, set aside.

Mix together tomatoes, basil, garlic, and olive oil. Add salt & pepper to taste.

Spread tomato mixture evenly on bread slices.

Top each bread with equal amounts of mozzarella cheese.

Serve immediately!
