Pebbleware is a unique and original ceramic product. Embossed with a patented pebble pattern, this non-stick baking pan has many benefits that make it the perfect choice for baking your favorite baked goods at home.
The patented design allows airflow under baked goods for more even browning and quick release. It is also healthy for baking doughmakers because it reduces the need for shortenings and oils, plus it doesn’t rust or scratch.
Durable And Rust Resistant
The pebble pattern of the bake pan allows air to flow under baked goods as they cook, improving browning. In addition, the patented pebble pattern has been designed in Terre Haute, Indiana to eliminate the need for shortenings and other oils or sprays that can compromise the quality of the baked product. The rust resistant material used in the construction of the bake pans also helps to improve the durability and rust resistance.
The Borlaug Global Rust Initiative at Cornell University coordinated the Durable Rust Resistance in Wheat (DRRW) project from April 2008 to December 2016. The DRRW engaged 22 research institutions around the world and aimed to mitigate stem rust threats by creating accelerated multilateral plant breeding platforms, deploying durable resistant varieties, and enhancing human capacity building and seed distribution worldwide. Under the DRRW, a world-class phenotyping platform was established at KALRO in Njoro, Kenya for screening against stem rust races of the Ug99 lineage; facilitating pre-breeding, testing and release of rust resistant varieties through the CIMMYT-Kenya shuttle breeding program; pathogen surveillance; and gene discovery and characterization studies.
